Git에서 실수로 main에 직접 커밋했는데 되돌리고 싶습니다 — 이미 push한 상태 문제로 질문드립니다.

Git 작업 중 아래 에러가 발생했습니다:

error: failed to push some refs to 'origin/main'
hint: Updates were rejected because the tip of your current branch is behind
hint: its remote counterpart.

혼자 작업하는 브랜치인데 왜 reject되는 건지 모르겠습니다. force push해도 되는 상황인가요?
